The most famous monuments and the suggestive views of the heart of Florence with the two most important museums in the world: Academy and Uffizi Galleries

Tour Description:

You can admire the monuments that symbolize the old town of Florence and the masterpieces of art of all times, among which the most famous sculpture in the world, the David by Michelangelo, and the most loved painting in the world, the Birth of Venus by Botticelli – all narrated by a local guide.
Visit the Academy Gallery, where you can admire the wonderful statue of David, the result of the genius of Michelangelo, together with other important works by the great artist.
Then stroll along the beautiful streets and squares of the old town where you will visit the marvellous complex of the Duomo with monuments entirely coated with polychrome marbles: the Cathedral, with the magnificent Dome by Brunelleschi, the Baptistery, the Campanile by Giotto.
Proceeding with the visit of the imposing and singular stone building of the Church of Orsanmichele, in which the wonderful tabernacle of the Orcagna is located, a masterpiece of the Florentine Gothic Art.
After the lively Mercato della Paglia with the famous "piglet" you will reach Piazza della Signoria with the Sculpture masterpieces of Loggia dei Lanzi and the impressive Palazzo Vecchio with the crenellated tower of Arnolfo, one of the famous symbols of the city.
The wonderful prospective of the open gallery of Palazzo degli Uffizi opens onto the square, and in this famous museum you can admire countless works of art among which the most loved painting in the world: the beautiful “Birth of Venus” by Botticelli.
